We are pleased to provide you with our Annual Report for Fiscal Year 2010. Our inaugural annual report provides you an overview of the principles and functions of the SDPOA along with highlights from the past year.
Beyond acting as the only recognized bargaining unit for San Diego Police Department officers in contract negotiations, the SDPOA is a support system for our members, maintains a charitable arm in the SDPOA Widows & Orphans Fund, strives to recognize the exemplary efforts of our members and provides camaraderie not found in many other professions.
SDPOA members include over 98% of sworn SDPD officers and we represent all ranks within the department. Our over 1,800 members work tirelessly to protect and serve the vast population of the City of San Diego, as well as the thousands of tourists and other residents in the region who spend time in San Diego.
